i was just wonder can I take out the TQ mounts for my DB if i have Hasport mounts? I was going to take off the tranny and the block side mounts. But then i'm not sure if the mounts will hold up to that, the motor is making 220whp and 150lb tq. Would it be ok?

 

i dont think you'll even be able to use those mounts with the hasports

 

You mean take out the lower torque mounts all together and leave them out? But why?

 

My lower tq mounts are all ripped...so to me i have no point in puttin them back. Plus the hasport should be strong enought to hold the motor should it?

 

Its not a matter of holding the engine in, its a matter that the tq mounts are the main mounts the prevent wheel hop and prevent the motor from torquing so badly. Its like you put in hasports and take out the tq mts and you're left in worse shape (performance wise) then you were before....while that might not be quite true, its pretty close.
