Accord snapped a stabalizer bar?
posting this for a friend.
"Driving home yesterday i heard a pop and then steering went weird for a sec. Luckily i was less than a block from home so i drove slow the rest of the way. I got up today and low and behold something snapped. Unluckily i don't have any jacks around to help get a better view. I was able to snap a few pictures. I think its the front stabilizer and so do a few of my friends. I want to see what you people think. For now it sits in the car port and i don't want to drive it unless I'm absolutely sure it wont cause harm. It also caused the front wheels camber to become way off. Tell me what you guys think."

any help is greatly appreciated.

"Radius Rod" is the technical term for it, i have also heard it called a "Caster Rod", this is controls the caster on the front wheels. It is in no way part of the sway bar. You can probably pick one up from a junk yard for under $70, you will need to have your car realigned after you get that raduis rod replaced. To change it, remove the plastic shroud underneath the front of you car, there is a 17mm nut on the front where it goes through the subframe, and two 17mm bolts on the top of the control arm. Seeing that yours is broke, you won't really need to worry about the nut on front until re-install, just remove the two bolts on the control arm and it will come right off. The radius rods are side/year specific. DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR UNTIL IT IS FIXED. I hope this helps.
