Default Quick Tech Question regarding wheel stud replacement

Ok, im about to replace two studs on my 96 EX, and I need to know if I have to disassemble the entire unit, which would mean I would have to buy a new wheel bearing being is its pressed in, or if i can get to the studs without having to remove it? Thanks

fronts or backs?!

Fronts: take off hub... PITA (take it to a shop)

Rear: Straight forward and any manual will show you how to remove the rear hub (something you can do with basic tools

fronts. I really don't want to have to buy a new bearing.

it's a cool idea but you'd def. wanna spot weld the stud on there IMO.. seems a little risky ... but that's just my opinion

I WILL suggest that if your car is pushing mileage to just replace the bearings while you're down there.. but if not you should be fine
