hey everyone, I have a 95 h22a in my 96 ek hatch. The motor has been in the car and running great for about 4000 miles. The other day i was driving the car and it lost power, feels as if its running on 3 cylinders, or how it would run if you had a bad spark plug or wire. i compression tested the motor and it has 240 psi across the board. So im pretty sure there is no internal damage. I have replaced the spark plugs and plug wires. I pulled the fuel rail and cleaned the injectors and they seem to be pulsing correctly when they get 12 volts. I just recently put a brand new distributer on so i beleive that is good, and i checked and im getting spark to each plug. I am really stumped on why the motor is running poorly if anyone could give me some suggestions that would be great. Thanks Garrett

 

i'd try another dizzy.. Is it an OEM one you're running?

no its from like distributor king or something. but that one was on the car from when we finished the swap and its run fine for like 4000 miles?

 

i have another one so im going to give that a try i hope it works

 

PROBLEM SOLVED: Injector Resistor box went bad, the output wire for the first cylinder was outputting 0.0volts. I dropped in a new 12volt line with a 10 watt 10 ohm injector and it runs like a champ.
