foglights Q.....again

Default foglights Q.....again

is there a way to wire up your foglight for it to turn without the parking light needing to b on? because the common way to wire the foglight is for it to turn on only when the paking light is on....right?

cansome1 direct me or give me a link to where i can find good write up on diy foglight install

Yes, you move 1-pin connector to the #1 in your fuse accessory.

did you hook up your foglights yourself? if so, the plug that you plugged into the cabin fuse box...disconnect it and plug it all the way to the right... here's a ghetto example...ill try to find that schematic of it for you.

All the way right is ignition dependent, and will only come on if the car is running.

does it? on mine it can be turned on in ACC.

Yes, I realize that. But sitting with your key on ACC just to have your foglights on is not common. I say running for all intensive purposes. For a 5th gen, A+B will be hot all the time. In a 6th gen, A will be hot all the time.

thanks fella...no i did not installmyfogs yet because i wanted to get a few thing cleared up.

so...did this guy had it set up for it to turn on only when he had his parking lights on???

because thats the fourth one he has it in...and if he'd put it in the last one...he could of turn it on the acc..correct me if im wrong

If you have it set up with the parking lights, you should be able to turn it on without the keys in the ignition. If you put it in slot 1, it'll be able to turn on, no matter what.
