Default Opinions on my future sound system....

Ok I dont see much talk on here about JL W7's and i was wondering what this system would be like....Right now all i have is a headunit which is a Jensen 7" Motorized In dash TV, but the system i want is listed below and i want something that is clear and crisp and has some bass but nothing outrageous. so please feel free to give any suggestions

JL 10" W7
JL 500.1 Amp
Knukonceptz Wiring
JL 400.4 Amp for components
Need components have no idea here

Thanks

10W7 is outrageous bass and will most likely not please you. It is designed for raw SPL (Sound pressure level).

Go with a single 12W6 or even a 12W3V3 would be good to and save some weight. The amp is good. The 500/1 is a badass amp which will work on any of those subs. But if you want bass quality go for the W6 series rather than the W7 series. Make sure you use 4 gauge wire on the amp though. All the JL slash series require 4 gauge minimum.

The 10W7 and 500/1 work very well together, and if installed in a proper box will give you not only lots of SPL when you want but will give you clean accurate sub bass response... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod..._id=5
I would definitely look at the JL Audio cabinets for the sub... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod...id=12 or build to spec... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod..._id=5 94

As for components go for FOCAL. They are handmade and have some of the best clarity you will ever hear.

Not sure if a double din will fit on a 00 Si, but if you want a good flip out get a Kenwood Excelon. They're a little pricey but worth every penny.

i may i dont know, but is there any others? for right now i am keeping my jensen cause it serves the use of what i want lol....when i get my system money aint a big deal cause as u can tell with w7's they are pricey so i will spend whatever money i need to so i get a good setup that wont just bang my ears out but be crisp and loud thanks

There's lots of others to choose from. You can go with an Alpine IVAD310 flip out, Pioneer also makes a couple different flip outs as does Eclipse, although I think the eclipse ones have built-in Navigation and are really pricey.

2din fits in a 00si. u can either use the kit or just use the isomount brackets that are used with the factory radio instead of the plastic single din dash kit.might need a trim ring tho. it's what i did when i installed a eclipse 2din into my friends car. it's clean too.
