Default Two issues with my 99 Civic: Replacing Timing Belt & Passenger Window Noisy at High Speeds

My 1999 Civic Ex Coupe recently hit 100k miles. To celebrate the occussion , I wanted to take care of two problems:

1) Replacing the timing belt - I'm not skilled enough to replace it by myself. And I'm too cheap to let a dealer do it. My plan is to order the parts from thehondapartsstore.com that are needed for the job and take it to a mechanic to do the work. Here is a list of parts I've put together. Please let me know if I left anything off:

90011-PG6-004
BOLT, TIMING BELT ADJUSTER SPRING
$2.90

90007-679-000
BOLT, TIMING BELT COVER A
$2.60

14400-P2F-A01
BELT, TIMING
$31.25

Also - I'm thinking I'll also have them put in a new water pump too...since they'll be in the vicinity:

19200-P2A-A01
WATER PUMP
$63.75

2) My passenger side window makes a lot of noise when I'm on the freeway. This all started when this window broke while I was driving. I have no idea what caused it to break. And I was in a rush to get it fixed. So the only person I could find to replace it on a Saturday used aftermarket glass. Also, a few years prior, someone pried the black plactic glass door stopper from this window. I have no idea if this person was trying to break in or what. Anyways....ever since I get the aftermarket glass installed, the window makes quite of bit of noise on the freeway. What do you think I should do to solve the problem? I'm pretty sure that the window was installed okay. It goes up all the way. But I also notice that the window is shape a slightly different than my OEM driver side window. Do you think I need to get a window from Honda and have that put in? And get another door stopper?

Also - I'm in Orange County (work in Costa Mesa, live in Fullerton) if anyone wants to recommend a shop.

Thanks in advance!

If youre gonna have a shop do it i'd let them order the parts as well. Usuall they wont warrant the work unless you buy the parts from them as well. And the honda dealer might not be so much more than the mechanic.

There are a couple things more you should replace with a timing belt, SOHCs are not that difficult to do yourself.

All accesory belts, p/s, alt, a/c (I prefer Gates products)
timing belt (again I prefer Gates or conti-tech)
tensioner (koyo is OE spec'd)
valve cover gasket set (I prefer felpro)
water pump (OE honda or other, kinda hard to mess up making a water pump)
thermostat (stant superstat, or OE honda here)

for your 99 civic sohc ex thats:
gates TCK224 (timing belt and tensioner) $57
FEL-PRO Part # VS50500R (head cover gasket set might as well do a valve adjustment when the valve cover is off) $12
Alt belt GATES Part # K040315 $7
p/s belt GATES Part # K040332 $8.25
a/c belt GATES Part # K040322 $8
water pump CARDONE SELECT (new not reman) Part # 5553625 $33
water pump gasket (it should come with one) FEL-PRO Part # 35627 $2
thermostat OEM FUJI Part # 19301P08315 $9.50
so thats about $145 in parts, all from http://www.rockauto.com minus shipping and any necessary fluid like coolant etc. And there are writeups on here on how to do it.

there is an adjustment procedure to align the window with the sash, some aftermarket glass aren't cut right to the door shape, and still wont seal well even after adjustment. Basically when you pop off the door panel, and carefully peel off that plastic you'll see the bottom of the glass held in by two bolts, you can loosen and align those. Best way to do it is to lower the window about 3/4", then loosen bolts/nuts, then adjust so the top edge of the window glass is relatively 3/4" or even all the way around, then tighten back the nuts (dont do it too tight you'll crack the glass). Try and reseal the plastic using existing sealant, RTV any thing you need to, put the panel back in.
