Default Greddy header on y8?

Ive come across a greddy header for a z6 and I have a couple of questions. First is it install and play in my y8? Second my car is stock as far as exhaust goes so will I notice a difference in performance? Ill probably be getting a exhaust this summer, but if i get a good deal on the header Ill buy it.

no you wont notice a difference, yes it will look better under your hood, but unless the greddy header has both bungs for the o2 sensor...it wont work.

It'll bolt right up.

The O2 sensor placement difference is fine though, you just have to extend the O2 wires.

You'll notice a **** hair of a difference, nothing big. Maybe 2/3-4/5 whp tops. You can usually feel it, to the ones that say it's all in your head are just haters. Dynos prove both ways so they're useless. You'll notice a difference, but you won't be gaining on vettes.

Can I ask how much you're paying for it? In my personal opinion, bolt ons such as I/H/E aren't worth paying for name brand parts on a NA D-series engine (unless you're really serious about building that NA D-series engine and have deep pockets). Go with no name crap, it'll last ya just as long. Like I said in another post, it's just not worth the name where you get an extra 1whp difference between the 2 headers (no-name vs named brand) for the extra 150 dollars you pay.

well my roomates 4-1 dc headers which was off his z6 fit my y8 no problem what so ever. The application was for a z6 not for a y8 but it still fit my y8...i'm not sure if the greddy headers applications are the same as for DC's though. As for buying the header, when i put the dc header on my y8 with only intake, no exhuast and the car felt like it lagged. too much back pressure bascially. I took it off and sold it...
