Default y8 to y7

i have a 98 lx with a y7 in it. if i was to get a y8 header would it bolt up to it? and i know its not gonna help that much because its a d series so i dont need to hear that. i just need a anwser, im building the engine for show more then race

Yes it will bolt on, but you won't have a cat converter.

yes you can, but you will have to extend the o2 sensor

Because other than the stock one, they don't make aftermarket ones specifically for the y7. The cat is in the header, and an aftermarket header would remove it, which would throw all kinds of codes and run like crap.
