Z6 and Y8 Header difference????
They have different part #'s and was wondering if just 02 location (I can lengthen the wires) or if it was more?
I have a 421 Stainless One Peice header for a D16Z6 and was wondering if it'd bolt on no problem to my 00 EX (5 spd) D16Y8. Anybody know the details of the difference?
Thanks peeps.

not quite sure but i have a y8 in my 92 w/ z6 header and the only thing i notice is its kinda hard to put in cause its a tight fit.. by this i mean there is compression on the exhaust pipe when i installed the lower half. if it weren't a two piece im not sure i would have been able to get it on

Just an update. The header DID work. You must use the O2 off of the OBDII car as they are oposite plug-ins. The O2 is possitioned (clocked) a little different but doesn't cause an issue.
HOWEVER, the clocking position of the header and cat are slightly different. I was freaked at first, but when I bolted it up, it was minimal, but you could tell it was just a little different, but worked out fine, one spring bolt was just at a LITTLE bit of an angle. All worked out well.
Note: For those of you using header tape for the first time. The initial drive in or two it seems to burn in and smoke for the first couple of drives. So be cautious, but most likely your car is not on fire, all though it really looks that way lol. I was scared.
