this may sound dumb..but i was wondering if i can buy a performance ecu for a vtec engine, but its going to a non vtec car at this time...eventually i will get the ls vtec into my car...will it work and give me all the specs it says it can make for my car?

 

Will your car run with the vtec ecu? Yes.Will your car run good?Probaly not because the air fuel maps ect will be all wrong for your motor.

 

Do not do this. it will not run right.

 

Why not just buy the ecu and hang on to it without installing it untill u drop in the lsv
