Default Explicit Speed Motor Mounts

I broke my front motor mount and was considering going with the Energy Suspension inserts but when I discovered that the Explicit Speed motor mount kit eliminates the front mount altogether, I decided that was the best route to choose.

The problem came after installation. Now don't get me wrong, the mounts are top quality and look sick too. But I'm a moron and I installed these on my daily driver. The vibrations are ridiculous! They don't bother me when I'm the only one in the car but when I have one of the ladies riding with me, if they don't get really horny from the vibrations, they're terrified that the car is gonna fall apart.

I'm trying to find out what I can do, if anything, to minimize the vibrations. And also, are there any other problems that come with having solid mounts on a daily driver? My last setup was a built H23 without balance shafts and those vibrations caused almost every bolt in my car and engine bay to back out over time. Is there anything else I should worry about?

Shouldnt have vibrations. Loosen all of the bolts & let the engine settle then torque them down to spec. Iirc, its 40-44 ft lbs.

the helms lists a specific order for torquing the mounts at the end of the engine removal section...its a kinda long process but i did it when i swapped engines and it vibrated like half as much as before. i was using ES inserts before and after the swap

Ok, here's the photos. Please do not make fun of me or my filthy, fugly, scratched up engine bay. It's really cold here and I stop caring about what it looks like when the temp. drops below 50 as long as it runs and runs quick. The only photos I could get were of the passenger and driver's side mounts. The rear is, as we all know, way back behind the block under the manifold.

I am running the explicit spped mounts as well. The vibrations decreased greatly after a few hundred miles. And now after about 4k the vibrations are very minimal. Give them a couple weeks to break in an for the engine and mounts to settle in.

Shouldn't be that bad. I have the Innovative mounts and there is barely any vibration at all...without balance shafts even.

I thought that might be a factor. Mine have only been in for about 3 days and maybe 75-100 miles but I thought I noticed a small decrease in vibrations between the initial start up and this morning. I'll let them break in for a bit and if that fails, I'll resort to the Helms torque sequence.
