my c.e.l came on and its a 9 and 43 did a search but can't find anything if any one knows where i need to liik please point me in the right place or if any one has seen these before tell me what u did.
thanks
thanks
I'll find it for you man, i'll be back in a few w/ the link...sit tight.
EDIT: With a few mins of searching, this is what I found for you so far...
Here's a link to Gen 2 Integra CEL Codes..
http://g2ic.com/tegtips/engine/13.html
What I've found so far is that code 43 for a DA Integra is "Fuel Supply System", and those code commonly goes away with the replacement of the o2 sensor. Which one, I'm not sure..but an ODB1 DA may only have one sensor. Someone correct me if im wrong...
Code 9 is No. 1 Cylinder Position. Have you recently done a timing belt install? The no. 1 cylinder position has to be at TDC when doing the timing belt install. If not, you could get this code. Many others also say replacing the distributor has solved this problem. The only other scenario I would consider, is that your timing may be advanced too much. If you have played with your timing or anything around the dizzy...that could very well be the cause of the CEL.
Hope I helped so far, I'll let you know if I come across anything else.
Good luck man...I HATE CEL's, although they help immensely with engine diagnostic, so I guess they're not a BAD thing...but I hate the feeling when that damn light pops on!

Ohhhh ok. You didnt list what type of car you had, so I saw the DA in your username and sig and went with that. I actually think the codes should still be the same. Do a bit of searching and you should find exactly what you need within a few minutes. Good luck!
As far as EG Civics go...you're in luck. Its actually the FIRST stickied thread in this forum. Here's the link..

That should have MORE than anything you'll possibly want to know.
