dim cluster and clock
I took the cluster and clock from my girls hatch before we sold it.. they worked perfect. Now i installed them into my hatch and when i turn the lights on at night the cluster barely lights up.. all the lights are real dim, and you can't even see the clock... whats wrong?

Better put on it. Otherwise your dash lights won't turn on.

In your girlfriend's car, they may not have been hooked up to the dimmer. I know when I put an EDM clock in my girl's EJ8, I didn't hook up the wire that would make it "dim" when the lights come on, so it's bright all the time.

the oem clocks SUCK! i got one from my clip, and i can't never seem to set the right time. everytime i do and turn the car off, it resets. when i turn on my lights, the **** dissappears. i've checked every fuse known to man and the **** still does it.
you're just better off getting a nice radio and setting the time on that.
