pedals, tranny, shifter, clutch cable, and two wire by the old auto shifter have to be connected together for the nutral safety switch or the motor won't turn over. That should be it.

theres a writeup somewhere online, just search for it. I based my first auto-manual swap from it and I was successful. I definitely recommend dropping the steering columnall the way down, if not removing it. I also reccomend blocking the holes left behind the auto shifter right away, and dont forget about it like i did.

I'd hit puddles and the water would steam off my exhaust and into my car

HOLY **** DUDE!! i just litterly finished my pedal conversion like 24 hours ago and do you know how much cursing, blood sweat and tears i could have avoided with that write up?? i mean i did the whole thing without dropping the steering colomn and it took me 4 straight days and a battle for sanity to finally get those dam pedals in but they finally bolted up literally about 24 hrs ago. You are the man DAX!!! i just wish i discovered this earlier

Not a genius, just sick of reading half-assed writeups on how to do stuff. Glad it has been able to (and hope it will continue to) help people.
