i recently replaced my coolant lines and my thermostat because my car would over heat but now my car over heats less often and i noticed that when i'm driving at night that my lights get dim as the temp gauge gets closer to the H (hot) and when he temp goes to normal my lights get brighter to back to normal and the temp somtimes goes up/down during idle and even during acceleration..i'm totally lost on what

The dimming lights sounds a little weird, but I would have to say it is 1 of 3 things.
1) possible bad temp sensor - not too likely since you said it does over-heat.
2) possible air in the system - if you don't bleed out all of the air then the air pockets will cause problems.
3) possible water pump failing - if it is not moving enough coolant then the engine will over heat. If you do replace this, don't over-look the timing belt as you will be right there already.

Have you tried looking around on http://www.g2ic.com ? Best site for the G2 Integra.
If you don't find the answer there, see if you can talk to RX3. He is fairly familiar with component interaction. He might be able to shed some light on the dimming.
