I thought I meant except for the heads. The blocks are different? I thought blocks were same heads were different, i.e. one has v-tec and one dosn't. The blocks have the same bore, the LS is like a de-tuned GSR right?

I knew that the head was different, I said that. And I was correcting myself after I was corrected to say that such little things as a rear main seal would surely be the same. I now know that the blocks are different.
