Default help!! code after boost

I have a 88 crx si fully built, t3/t4 turbo.... long list of mods. when i throw about 4lbs of boost to it i get a code the car wont idle and if i try and hold it @ low rpm's it runs like crap. if i turn the car off and start it up its fine. i was told by 1 person its the map sencor, that it cant read the boost. can anyone help and how can i solve this?? much appreciated. btw i tried searching but came up with nothing, kinda a comp noob lol

update...
cp pistons, eagle h beam rods, head redone 3 angle valve job, still obd0, turbo link engine management with extra 550 injectors (still lean havent tuned it yet tryin to get out all the bugs b 4 the dyno) t3/t4 turbo, speaco i/c, greaddy type s bov, basically its a new motor.

it sounds like a missing link setup. are you using and FMU?

If your car is shutting off and you have management its not good. the ecu not the map throws a map sensor code. The map can actually read low amounts of boost i think up to ten. But if you are getting your car to shut off while boosting you are creating catastrophic misfires. I learned this the hard way. I know the boost is fun but have it tuned before driving it. To stop the code you can use a map missing link to prevent the boost from going into the map sensor. Just go hondata with ob1 with ecu match to your engine and ditch the old fmu, missing link and rough idling issue.

when the stock ecu reads boost it flips. check valve would get rid of the cel. the stock obd0 map read up to alittle past 9 accuratley

you're in nj,so hit up xenocron..he can chip and tune your ecu for you so it will run perfect and be setup for boost http://xenocron.com

also isnt turbo link a GM thing? so you have a fully custom made wiring harness? you sure you have turbo link?

haha,,yeah get rid of that crap.., go to north bergen,nj and have xenocrom chip and tune your ecu..

or you could get the fmu setup but cant boost to high otherwise it runs way to much fuel..

a map missing link is a check valve used on the map to prevent boost from getting into map and throwing a code. old hks f-con system i think control extra injectors. one word ..... hondata with obd-1 ecu conversion will solve everything. obd-0 is not a good tuning setup its very primitive like my typing skills i'm drunk
