Default 92 Civic Exhaust & Intake

Hello, I bought a 1992 Civic Si as a project car. When I got it, it came without any of the exhaust (including the header) and no intake. I'm fairly new to cars, especially imports, and I was hoping for some opinions on what brands to go with. O ya, I havethe d16z6 engine, if that helps. Thank you for your time.

go to your local junkyard and buy a stock exhaust and intake
then save money for an engine swap or something

good option..

finding a hb in a junk yard is hard some times..

you can get the headers for a civic 92-95 ex too (same motor)

d16z6 motor to me are more fun then a ls motor..

I agree with that. For what you are going to pay for aftermarket parts, you aren't gonna get **** out of it (especially on a d-series). Go get some used stock parts for MUCH cheaper at a junkyard and save some money. it may not look as good, but if you are planning on doing something bigger and better with your car, it'll do the job until that time comes.

I guess all you guys prove a good point, I really do need a different engine!! Actually, this one spun a rod before I bought it and my dad was wanting to fix it. We estimated the price at about $300 to fix it, thats to turn the crank, recondition the rods, and the bearings. I thought this was a little rough, but I don't think there is a junkyard in rural Illinois that has Civics, and what is the usual quality of a junk yard engine?? If anyone knows of a junkyard with hbs near Vandalia, IL please let me know. So far, my plan is to save up some money and hit up an Acura junkyard in Tennessee.
