Tell them to do just enough to make it flat. You don't want ur comp. to get raised too much if your FI.

Its usually between .003 and .006".

This is a good thread to ask- how many times can I saftely have my head and/or block milled?

Ive had my block resurfaced 3 times and my head once, so say .004 each, thats .012" ! thats kind of alot, enough to raise my compression 0.3

When mine was done they went 0.006 it was warped, they said that was enough to cause an leak.

Just enough to make it flat, if its not flat its no good, and if they have to take off too much to make it flat, its scrap.

.10 ?

will it also depends on how high you want your compression. My head is fine, its not warped or anything.
