Default Stubborn Axle

I am attempting to remove the axles from my 92 civic hatchback. The drivers side one came right off with a slight tug. I cant for the life of me remove the passenger side one though. I removed the side that goes into the tranny but the one on the rotor i just cant get off. I have pried and pulled to no avail. Am i missing something here? anyone know any tricks to removing a stubborn axle?

Thanks, i thought of that as well, do i need to remove the 2 screws that hold the Rotor on to do this?, since this will cause another problem in attempting to remove those.
