idle
when my car is just sitting there idleing the needle of rpm sits rigth on top of the 1000 line is it suppose sit there or is it suppose to cover the 1000 line rpm line i just want to know if my car is idleing fine hope u all get the picture of wat im talking about or at what rpm should it be idleing at so i can adjust screw
Yeah, it should be around 750 or so. However, you may be idling fine right now, you'd have to check with an external tachometer to get the exact idle speed, I've heard of the stock tachs not being too accurate at low RPMs.

Even up top they tend to slow a tad.
I would agree to double check before any panic sets in.
How cold is it though isn't around 1100 the cold start idle?

Yes, 1100 is cold start. kikcrx: is this when your car is fully warmed up?

i know its probably a dumb question but where is 750 exactly how many lines do i go down from 1000 and another question messing with that does it affect the cars performance or does it run the same even though if i were to mess with that
dude, it is not that hard to lower it to 750, just turn the screw on the throttle body. The 750 mark should be just below the 1000. You should not have an idle past 750 rpm, end of story.
