when the car warms up the idle drops to about 600 rpm, and about a minute or so it goes up to 1100rpms any idea? there is a popping noise from the exhaust between 3000 and 4000rpms but goes away when the car warms up. its a b16a2 with type r pistons, toda cams, could these cause any of this?

cams can make teh idle rough.. also check you iacv on the back of your intake manifold.. clean it out with some throttle body cleaner..

 

iacv? is that on throttle body or mani?

i was digging into it yesterday and the fast idle is broken. its cracked down the side of it. if this wasnt working rite would this give me a check light?
