Default vafc hack highest psi recommendation???

Well guys i'm not gonna be able to do the motor build and baller turbo kit that i was planning for. Funds just aren't supporting after spinning #2 bearing, buying a new daily, and putting some needed cash into the ole homestead. Anywho i found a crazy cheap deal on a b18c to replace mine and i'm just gonna sell all the good parts i have left over. I know rebuilding would be most peoples option but after selling my parts the cost will be near the same and i don't have to worry about the rebuild which would take more time then i can put towards it currently. My goals are to have the gsr back on the road and atleast hack boosted with a mediocre setup using a t3/04e. How much psi would you guys consider highest to run on stock motor but safe? Now let me say i'm not an idiot and i know it can handle the basic 7-8 psi fueled right and i know this similar question has been asked alot but new things are discovered and limits are found to be more then before so using the vafc hack what would be your recommended highest psi? I tried doin a lil research but couldn't come up with anything i was looking for. With 10.6 compression i really don't think i should go over 8 using the hack but maybe theres some new knowledge and something i don't know. Sorry for the book. All suggestions welcome.

Recommendations, get a good tune and don't use a vafc hack. Also usually crazy cheap deals are to good to be true.

Well crazy cheap is just my way of saying a good deal. lol Its not that cheap. And as far as the hack, yes i know its crap compared to a real tune but it'll be the only way i can finally boost this upcoming year. I know i should be a good boy and just be patient till i can afford hondata or some type of ems but i've waited long enough to boost (couple of years) and i wanna have a lil fun untill i can do it right. Thanks for the suggestion though.
