higher compression wit tdo5h safe??
I made a mistake of rebuilding my LS with 9:1 thinking i was going to go bigger turbo in the future. But when you build a block and piece together a turbo kit, you really dont have any more money to go bigger turbo with rerouting intercooler piping, different manifold, external waste gate and so on. So now that i have a reliable tdo5h turbo system, im thinking about going back to 10:1 stock compression or maybe even 11:1. The goal is to keep all my set-up in tact. just a highere compression pistons. I will be running a FMU and h22 injectors. in central MN there arent any tuners and I know jack sheet about tuning with ubber or anything.
I have a couple back up cars in case I blow my engine and since Im a mechnic, im not really scared. I just want to know what you guys think. and if there are any fool proof tuning system out there, please let me know. But for now what do you think about 10:1 or 11:1 with FMU/tdo5h?
