Default Does it smell when you open up vtec?

Does everyone get a certain kind of smell when they open up vtec? I dont smell it when i drive under 6K, but once I open up vtec even for a second I can smell it. My friends b16 does the same thing, so i was guessing it was normal

I have had my vtec closed for awhile. I just went and opened it and it smelt like bad cheese.

It's all good. I can not speak for Mike but I was just playing and you gave me a chance to ***** a little.

My GSR smells in the upper limits, but it needs a rebuild though.

Your dipstick tube (bottom, connected to the shortblock) may be loose, and theres a little oil leaking on your block that is burning and smelling bad..

thats what my deal is anyway..

<----I have no noticable oil consumption. It just smells a little bit once VTEC engages. If I remain on the bigger lobes the smell is not constant. It's a one time deal.
