fast idle wire, where does it go?
I have a 91 CRX DX with a swap to a D16A6 PGMI-FI. It's ran fine for a long time but the other day, my son was replacing the turn signal stalk and in the process, unplugged the battery. Ever since, it's had an intermittent idle (when warm, it cycles back and forth between 1k-2k, very annoying!). When we went to look into it, we found that the fast idle solenoid was unplugged. We can't find a place to plug it in! I find it hard to believe that it's been this way forever?
So my question is, where the heck does it plug in?
Thanks

the fast idle control valve does not have an electrical connector. it is much like a thermostat. when the engine is warm, it should close.. mine was stuck open.. to quick fix this, i covered the hole in the throttle ody with packing tape.. you can take this valve off the manifold and clean it. i EACV has an electrical connector. that might cause your surge.. or a vacuum leak.. but when its warm, cover the hole with your finger and see if it drops... this link should help you as well.

Sorry for the big pics.
Also, you can see where I came up with the name here.

I've been doing some serious searching and seeing terms like EACV, IACV and FCCV/FITV. If you look on that fiche, there's nothing of those names, although there is probably 'Honda' names and what you guys call them. I pulled off the VALVE ASSY., ELECTRONIC AIR CONTROL (I assume this is the EACV, mentioned in the service manual PDF, but I can't disassemble it as it's got a soleniod end and a strange 5-sided allen on the other?

that has all the mpfi vs dpfi pinouts, it looks like b2 is the fast idle. I imagine one of those wires go there and the other goes to a ground

Fixed! I had a spare ECU and swapped it in. I don't know what it did, but the idle doesn't bounce between 1000-2000 anymore. I thought the whole thing started when pulled the battery and this pretty much confirms it.

yes that is the eacv. that does have a wire. but i just the jdm b16 is way different than the us cause of all the extra vacuum ****. my eacv does not look like that though. it looks the same as the d15b,
