I usually just use OEM filters everytime I change my oil but I don't have any on hand and I'd just like to go buy one from a parts store so... Which one do I use? Don't all 4 cylinder hondas use the same filter anyway? So couldn't I just buy a filter for an older civic?

I didn't see any of the 06 Civic filters listed.

Sorry I didn't get more specific, I meant which filter as in what other models share the same filter as the R18. Would it be the same as any older civic?

 

I use K&N Oil filters. I used Honda for the first 3 changes then went to K&N.

 

Anyone answering the question at hand?

ah.. that I don't know... good luck with this one. you'd prob be the first to find out lol

 

The R18 is the same as the K20 filter

Basically any Honda/Acura from 88 and up uses the same exact oil filter with the exception of S2k's and Insights.

A 91 DX civic will take the same exact oil filter as an 07 Ridgeline.
