Well honestly, use stock unless you want to upgrade the inserts but depending what you are doing with the car it might not be worthwhile.

i thought my mounts were sloppy....

so i bought inserts and brand new OEM mounts. the mounts were sloppy because they were old and warn. the new mounts alone made the car feel a lot better. when i installed the inserts, it was just a bonus. but probably not needed.

thanks for the responses!

I was mostly wondering if I needed a different mount than stock since the engine is from a 96 civic. But I guess they use the same mounting points.

I am pretty good with tools.

But do I have to move the engine in any weird way? Or just kinda shove it a lil?

Theyre kinda blown so I think Im gonna replace the mounts and the inserts. If theres a write-up anywhere I'd appreciate the link! thanks again!

ok maybe its not some good info but a bump in the same time....

well if i recall well the placements and all the mounts positions. you would need to unmount and use engine lif or what ever to get the engine high about couple of inchs..then you change all of them in the same time. but you cant lift too much or you will pop out the axles... I dont know if this can be done...other wise drain you transmission liquide and pop the axle to lift the engine.

Srry if it unaccurate information just trying to help a fellow member ^^.
