no spark
just did a timing belt change and for some reason now im not getting any spark. when i turn the car to the on position i hear the fuel pump prime, however i hear a decently loud click coming from the engine compartment. not sure if that means anything. any good write ups on checking the coil or maybe the ignitor, or does anyone have a good suggestion of where i can start looking to get a head start? thanks.
is that in the distributor? or on the accord is it actually by the crank? im not throwing a cel, were you? is there a way to check to make sure its good? thanks for the info
hey biggreenauto, i did not find that post in your created topics. got a link?
im just now getting the time to get back on this, any other help would be great.

In that case the CKP sensor is in the distributor.
Get a check-engine light? If so, what's the error code?

i have not gotten any cels. good to know its in the dist. i didn't notice anything down by the crank while i was down there as far as sensors go. anyways to test the ckp sensor? is this one of the things where if it goes out you have to replace the whole dist?
You can measure the resistance, but I don't know what it's supposed to read. If it's bad you replace the distributor.
If the distributor is full of red dust, that's a good sign that one of it's sensors is bad.
