i was about to start installing my subs/amp in my car. so i go and take off the battery terminals. the second i touch the terminal (pos+) with my ratchet, i get some sparks. now my whole car isnt getting power. i changed the fuse and still no luck. anything else i should check for?

 

check fuses again beacuse i sure they're blown, but other wize do a voltage drop across each connection along the positive line and see where your loosing your 12v's ..

 

is there any other fuse other than the underhood fusebox one?

 

checked the fuses and nothing. . . .any possibilities i fried the whole fusebox?

 

it was the ground. that **** ws like 6 feet of wire and grounded where tehre was alot of paint
