I think pep boys and all those stores carry a Haynes.

You can also get a Helms from Honda/Acura but they'll charge you a fee on top. So your better off just getting it from http://www.helminc.com

Correct. They do NOT sell the Helm manual at Pep Boys. They only sell the Haynes manual. And the Helm manual is much, MUCH better.

The Helm service manual for the Integra includes all Integras sold at the start of that year.

What does that mean, if you're looking for information on the ITR motor?

1997 The Helm service manual for the 1996-1997 Integra applies to the Integra models sold at the start of 1996. The Type R was not sold until mid-year 1997. If you want information on the 1997 Type R engine, you need to also buy the "1997 Integra Type R Service Manual Supplement", which contains all the information for the Type R that wasn't in the 1996-1997 Integra manual.

1998 The Helm service manual for the 1998 Integra includes all Integra models sold for that year, including the Integra Type R.

1999-2001 They did not print a new service manual for these years, but they published a "Service Manual Supplement" for each year, which shows only the things that changed from 1998. If you want a complete service manual for any of these years, you need to buy the Helm service manual for the 1998 Integra plus the supplement for your year.

In most cases, if you're looking for info on the ITR motor, you can get by with only the '98 manual...
