Default Accord got broken into last night

Last night some **** head broke the windows on my car and stole all my stereo stuff. Amp, CD player, my wallet and my cd's. Worst thing about it is that they ripped my center console apart to get my cd player out and now I'm having all kinds of electrical problems there are wires everywhere. Come to find out that my turn signals dont work. I checked all the fuses and they are ok. Could it be the turn signal switch?? Its a 96 accord ex by the way.......

I know that if you unplug the hazard switch (right there by the stereo console) is unplugged or or disconnected the turn signals wont work. look at that.

Did you check the under hood fuses as well as the under dash fuses?
Under hood 15 amp 'hazard' fuse and there is a 7.5 amp fuse in the "auxillary fuse holder" I think it is tagged into the under dash fuse panel.

the hazard switch has to be it, they broken the button to turn on the hazards. I checked all the fuses underneath the steering colum and the fuses under the hood. So i should buy another hazard light switch and go from there??? One of my friends said that they might have tried to steal the car and broke the turn signal switch. How would i go about replacing that switch?

turn signal switch is the one on the steering column...if they broke it itll be haning. you change it by taking the black cover off( i think 5 or 6 screws from bottom going up). the n taking out the 2-3 screws that hold the box that the turn sinal stalk should be leading to.

if the hazard is boke then get one from the junkyard, quick fix. plugs in and out. should be easy to figure out since they already tore up the console.

sorry to hear about your misfortune. no alarm?

That sucks. Hope he gets caught. Any markings on the amp or CD player? Alarm in the car?

#1 - dont expose the model of your Alarm online (or to anyone). or your kill switches or anything of the sort dealing w. security.

#2 - dont ever leave you wallet in your car

Second the hazard switch is a plug in and out deal. I have all the parts to the interior of a 96 Honda Accord b/c I completely gutted my interior. If you need misc. parts let me know.
