Can someone tell me how to wire an aem 5 bar? Which color on the map sensor goes to which color on the stock wiring? I searched and found that its the same as 3 bar. My 3 bar had different color wires than the 5 bar. I think I wired it up wrong because we tried starting the car and it was smoking from the exhaust manifold gasket, and spitting out fuel from that same place. Thanks.

 

if u try starting the car with out re-calibrating the EMS then its going to run EXTREMELY messed up, either very rich or very lean.

Save ur motor and re-calibrate ur EMS first.The wiring may not be messed up.

 

we burned a new chip for the 5 bar. its on hondata s200.

 

is there some kind of calibration required to make the 5 bar work correctly? it is selected as the map sensor of choice in our hondata chip.

 

anyone? hondatas website is no help.

 

be sure ur 5 bar is not mounted to the manifold but to the fire wall...

 

im pretty sure you can only run the aem 5 bar on an aem ems...

 

u can run 5 bar on hondata. there is a selection for it.

NO, im using aem 5bar with hondata s300 no problems

 

my Aem 5 bar works fine on hondata...im using s300...i dont remeber the wires off hand..but i can look for ya tomarrow...

Look at the last post on the thread. That is from the pigtail on the AEM.

Wire Sensor Code B Series
GND Green/White
MAP signal White
5V Yellow/Red

That is from the Honda side.
