Weird hiss coming from the rear of my car.
This morning I was driving along the freeway at speeds of roughly 65-70mph and I turned my a/c off and noticed a loud hiss as I pressed on the gas. I threw the car into neutral and gassed it and the same hiss happend. I got off the freeway and as I slowed down I noticed the hiss went away. I stopped eventually and parked. I got out and it looks like there may be something wrong where the exhaust pipes connect at the rear of the car (not the muffler but the actual piping). I'll take pics and update the thread when I get home but for now I am wondering was that the noise of the exhaust leaking out of the broken pipes? I've also noticed my car sounds noticeably louder as though it has an exhaust system.
The car in question is a stock 1993 Honda Civic SI hatchback.
Here are the pictures I said I would provide.
By looking at these two, does there seem to be a problem?

Sounds like an exhaust leak. Start your car up once it's cool and put your hand near the flange that connects the catback & axleback to see if you can feel gases coming out.

Getting a brand new exhaust from a dealer would be ridiculously expensive. Getting one from a junk yard wouldn't be...
If you were planning on getting an after-market exhaust sometime in the future... get one now.
