Default Clunking sound when turning

I hear a clunking sound when i make turns. Like clunk..clunk..clunk untill i straighten the wheel. It also clunks alittle when i start from a stop light. Like soon as i start moving it clunks once or twice but its the worst around turns?

sounds like it might be your axle(s)..if you make a left turn..its from your passenger side axle..if you make a right turn..its from your driver side axle..

Do they make a "clunking" sound? I thought they made more of a poping sound?

cv joint is clunking. try a visual check first/ check the rubber boots on them to make sure they aren't exposing anything inside

Does your steering wheel move when it clunks? If it does it could be your rack & pinion, but I would check your axles first.

Check your CV boots then. If they're ripped or are covered in an oily substance.. they joint is probably bad. You can replace just the joint, but while your down there you might as well replace the whole axle.

Depending on how loud/heavy the "clunk" is...it could be lower ball joints.
Axles "click" (similar to tapping a pen on your desk)

I forgot to mention something, when i replaced my axle seal a few weeks ago and i put the axle back in the tranny and moved it to line up the splines on the spindle side i heard the noise? Im wondering if my differential / tranny is fucked up?
