I like it a lot. My old motor use to burn through about a quart of oil a month, put in some lucas, and it stopped burning that much. Plus, it is just good for the life of the engine.

and you'll change your mind about additives. If your burning oil, I suggest using a thicker rated cSt oil (or partially mixing some 15w40 Mobil Delvac in their), or fixing the source of burning (be it worn valve seals, or carbon gunk buildup giving false seals)

i concur, put 4 in and you should be good to go. make sure you park it on a level surface so you get all the old oil out.

QUICK STORY: at the dealership where i work there was this new lube tech who drained a total of 4 transmissions and put more oil in the block itself.....every one of the customers came back with a check engine light etc. and said thier car was acting up...then he backed up into the garage door with a bike rack ontop of an x-terra and screwed everything up, my manager was so pissed about everyhing and well...i can say i never saw that kid again.

You fill it until the oil level in the sump reaches the top dot on the dip-stick (while the car is sitting level) - no more, no less. The actual amount doesn't matter. Always remember to re-check and top off after starting the engine - the level drops slightly once the new oil filter fills up.
Do not use oil additives.
