Default what would YOU do if you were in my situation?!??! help me out

alright so heres my story kinda sad:

i have a 00 integra gsr and bout 2 weeks ago bout brand new supertech valves and portflow valvesprings and retainers. cost me $650 and $400 to have em installed...so i put my head back on the car and forgot to tighten the tensioner sooo it screwed my hole head head (hopefully didnt mess my pistons up) soo ive most likly decided to sell the car once its done and jus go back to an ef or eg. (less expensive)

heres my what would you do question

would you fix the engine thats in the car now, replace the valves that gotten messed up $20bucks a pop..overall pay like $1000 to have it all done and possibly have to get new pistons $50. or would you just buy another gsr engine and be albe to put it in your car before payin for it for $1500. which way would i make more money? if i get the second engine i would have my old one to sell and make most of my money back.

It would be much cheaper to fix the engine from the sound of it.
From what I got from your post
Fixing engine~1000

New engine~1500 to have it installed plus cost of engine.

I don't know how much you could sell your engine for as is... I would assume not much.

Your pistons should be fine , im pretty sure they are designed stronger since its an interference engine . So if something like this does happen when they collide your pistons arent damaged , but dont quote me on that . But id say pull the head off and take a look and if you have to just put the stock valves back in and sell it .

yea, the reason i got the valvetrain is b/c the stock valvetrain is pretty much shot. atleast the valves are (gave it a BAD valve tap)

soo pretty much its either spend the money and get the new valves and have em installed and have the car timed by the shop and all that. or jus get this new motor put it in and sell the car and sell the old motor.

Get new valves and install yourself... cheapest and best way out, and then you'll know how to do it later on and can even charge people to do it for them.
