unless the threads are screwed (which i doubt they are because im almost certain its made with a machine). are u sure its on fully tight? you dont have to over tighten it. like the stock one can actually turn some more, but u dont turn it all the way.

try using some washers or a nut under the shift **** to have the numbers facing forward.

Yeh, you have to have a nut that locks the **** in place. The s2000 uses one for it's ****. Which is what I have for my s2k leather wrapped ****. You can buy one from Honda. It's a dollar I think. Solve your problem

Nevermind I thought you could see the nut.

You can also use a 10mm x 1.50 thread metric nut ($.10?) until you find a genuine good for 20 WHP OEM Honda lock nut.

Yeah! The HOP (Honda Original Parts) ***** come with a reverse thread nut that you place on the the shifter and adjust the **** till it's tight and in the right position.... However you can do what i did, and not use the nut and stick paper in the **** and tighten it down until it fits just right! I used Orbit gum wrappers and kept adding them until the **** was where i wanted it! You can use anything that will act as a shim to get it where you want it to be, also you don't have the gaudy nut to look at! Kinda ghetto i know, but it works.... No one will know but yourself!

what i did was stuck bits of paper towel in the shift **** and tightened it and lined it up. i didnt want to use the nut because it would sit higher and i didnt want that.
