cable to hydo conversion in my eg what halfshaft?
like the titile says im doing the cable to hydo tranny swap as i just blew my hydo tranny apart... so i have a y1 im swapping in can i still use the 94-01 half shaft and axels i have or do i need to change over the the 90-93 for the older tranny and use a different pass. axel?
I forgot more about hondas then you will ever know....

no need to bump your thread every hour. what do you mean cable to hydro conversion? the eg's came with hydro transmissions.... i assume you have a motor swap? what motor? you want to put a cable tranny in place of a hydro? more info please.
yea i had the hydro tranny but now Im putting the y1 cable tranny in its place (thats what happens with 400hp)...im pretty sure it will work what i have now the 94-01 integra axels and half shaft but i remember there being something with the seals on the cable tranny that are different...thanks

looking for a definate answer....i geuss i can put in what i have if it leaks i will look into something else
i thought so too but the clutch and tranny out put shaft are both 22 teeth and bolted up fine...my y1 must have been a newer year like 93...

sorry I can't answer your question but be weary.....the B16 differential is smaller than the LS/GSR so it is easier to break.
I think its the diff, anyway, the B16 tranny breaks easier than the LS/GSr.

yea i heard the b16 tranny is weaker but its free and it has a factory LSD so i got to use it
