Intake sound diff. b/w LX and EX(5th gen)
i heard that accords with the f22b1(vtec) motor have a better intake sound in the higher rpms b/c of the vtec engagement(it gets louder). on the other hand, the lx is not as great. is this true? i have the f22b1 with in an intake and i know it gets loud, but does the lx sound like this too or is it quieter?

I havent heard a 5th gen EX with an intake but the 5th gen LX with intake isnt very loud at all. My civic HX got louder than it did.

my aem cai makes funny hissing sounds when i flip a switch in the dash, promply followed by the sound of snapping 1117 Billet Steel and a lack of forward motion...

are you talking about an axle? it sounds like it.

what kind of power mods do you have to snap an axle? do you have F/I like nitrous?

Well you have to look at it on the bright side atleast your axles go before your tranny does.
