anyone running a pre-amp'd bazooka
well looking for a decent low budget system. i'm not looking for a super pounding system. my sister picked me up a diamond component system, d661a. it includes 6.5's, tweeters, and crossovers. i was looking to picking up a bazooka 10" bass tube. originally going to pick up something of a 4x100 or so amp to run the 6.5s, and bridging 2 channels for the bass tube. but decent 4 channels were running 300 or so.
so what i was maybe thinking of doing was getting a small amp just to run the 6.5s, and getting a pre-amp'd bazooka tube. but i was wondering if anyone was running one, and to find out how they like it. or if anyone has any thoughts of my plans.
would i be better off getting a 4 channel to run the 6.5s and getting a non powered bazooka. or should i get a smaller amp, and just run a pre-amp'd bazooka
thanks

It will sound fine with the pre-amped bazooka tube. I installed a few with good results.
