Default evo2 to ws2

Anyways i finaly got my ws2 a few days ago after waiting so long. Wow, it is really quiet. Even though i have a cai, i dont hear vtec crossover much. It sounds almost stock, but deeper driving normally. When i really get on it it sounds very nice and not loud. One thing though, the car feels a bit slower; like it doesnt not accelerate like it used to or it struggles at high rpm. I dont know if this is in my head or whatever or maybe i am used to the noise from the evo2. I know the ws2 is chambered, but would that make my car perform less enough to notice?

Ive had both exhausts. The evo2 is 3 inches wide from the s pipe back... i noticed the evo2 i felt more power past 7500 rpm then the ws2. The world sport is 60 mm all the way through... Could be why...

i have the ws2 also. it is the chambered design hence it is quiet. i doubt you lost any power at all, just probably can't tell anymore because you don't have that loud exhaust noise.

The straight through design of the evo2 has to play a part with making more power somewhat, although its hard to tell when you are talking about 2-3hp. I thought the evo2 piping was 2.5in vs 2.38 or 2.25?

Ok i realize something with ws2...Sometimes while driving normal while giving it some throttle, It lets out a deeper than normal tone for a couple seconds and then it goes away. When i drive the car hard it would let out the same tone but it take a while before it starts..Kinda like its warming up...Its hard to explain, but does anyone experience this?

Yep thats completely normal... Give your car a high rpm downshift and youll noticed a nice deep tone that rewards you for it
