Default Which front swaybar?

Right now i've got an 00' si front swaybar for my 98 hatch, along with a gsr 14mm rear sway. Im curious what the diameter on the si front sway is. (2000 si) I looked around but couldnt find it. I haven't installed any of it yet. Right now Im riding around on omnipower sport coilovers. Will this be a well balanced or should i go a little smaller on the front sway, like say from an ex? (Correct me if im wrong but I believe the ex is a bit smaller)

The reason I ask is because a buddy of mine had suggested to him that on his eg with gsr front and itr rear sway he go a bit smaller on the front. (Can't remember exactly, but i believe to help with understeer)

So Im wondering if the si front may be a bit much compared to the small gsr rear and what to expect from that setup.

Thanks for any input!

The 99/00 Civic SI front sway bar is 26mm. The EX sway bar is 22mm.

I presume that you're wanting to get the car to rotate easier? or that you want less understeer?

In all honesty, give this a try: take off the front sway COMPLETELY-and find a bigger rear sway bar (ASR or Comptech) than you have now and the car will rotate better.

i'vwe figured out, with time, that you can take suggestion from people here and there, but the set up that will suit you the best is the set up you like the most. Drive the car, learn how it reacts, see what you dislike about it and then correct it. Until that, getting new swaybars and stuff won't do ****.

I agree with the first half of that, however getting new swaybars will definatly still help from what i've got now - no sways at all. Its not so easy for me to be changing out swaybars left and right so i was looking for some input on front/rear sizes and what to expect from certain combos.

Lol, isnt it funny how certain things like an 'lol' here or a 'hehe' there or certain smiley faces can make or break internet talk?

I've found that I can get my rear end to start to rotate consistently with the stock 22mm EX front and a 22mm Comptech rear.
