dont know what else to do. help please
still having the same problem. car loses power and leans out at 4-5krpm.
just installed a walboro 255 fuel pump and tested the car with my friends p72. vtec still kicks in( dropped it to 3800 to check) any more suggestions before i tow it to dallas and spend way too much money at a shop?
recently changed parts: fuel pump, fuel filter, injectors, spark plugs, spark plug wires, dizzy, fuel rail, throttle body, map, tps, and tested a different ecu.
Post your complete engine setup, tell us how you know it's running lean, and tell us when this started happening.
If you expect someone over the computer to fix your car your going to need to give way more info than you provided.

car is a 96 civic coupe w/b16 a2 swap
skunk2 pro intake manifold, lightened fly, aem fuel rail, 350cc injectors(about to boost it, just waiting on a downpipe), aem cai, custom exhaust, gsr tranny, hondata s200, vafc, chipped(kenji211)/socketed p28 ecu, ngk iridium plugs, 9.3mm plug wires, moroso dizzy cap, think thats about all the mods.
the problem started after i killed my alternator(too much stereo lol). my car was down for a couple weeks waiting on finding a new alt. i fried my chip during this time on an eprom programmer(in the house, not in the car at all). when i out the new alt on i found out my chip was erased and ordered a new one. it got here and i put it in, started the car and it idles fine, reverses fine, but when i put it in 1st once i hit about 3000rpm my a/f gauge drops all the way lean(never seen it in lean in 2yrs, always ran rich) now i know that a narrowband isnt the best way to tell and it might be off some, but it is some indication of the a/f ratio. the car loses power at 4-5k. feels like it is falling on its face. no cels(that would make it too easy). replaced almost everything fuel/air/electrical related except the wiring itself but that has been checked for spots it could ground out. tried a different ecu. vtec kicks in when io drop it low enough that my car can make it to that rpm.
oh yeah, just put in a walboro 255 fuel pump last night.

Pull your plugs and see if it's really lean, don't trust that light show a/f. My bet is that new chip you have isn't set for your injectors and your actually going rich and bogging.

This is where I would look. That's an awful lot of different fuel/engine management you have strung together there. All you should need is the Hondata S200 to control everything. Take it to a shop that knows how to tune Hondas, especially with Hondata, I'm sure it will quickly get sorted out. This sounds like a typical case of not knowing what you're doing and trying to save money by doing it yourself?

VAFC and HONDATA, something is wrong here.
You shouldn't have both of these. Remove the VAFC, it is probably the culprit, maybe you or someone else changed some values in that bad boy and its causing your problem?
I don't know why I'm thinking this but did you replace your battery?
