Default I want to "de-badge" my civic...

aka, I want to take the ex logo and civic logo off my trunk for a cleaner look (its not the sticker, its the actual emblem). What would be the best way of going at this? Just ripping it off and hope it doesnt do anything, or heat it with a heat gun and try that? suggestions please..thanks

heat gun, dont hold it on one spot though. You can then use a putty knife that has a cloth wrapped over it and scrape up under it, or you can use fishing line and pull behind it too. Then just use a solvent if theres any sticky stuff left.

i think using a fishing line and a heat gun (or hair dryer) is the easiest way, then clean it all off with goo gone.

A razor blade would destroy the paint. just use a old library card or some junk credit card in the mail before you cut it up and some goo gone. will work like a dream
