Default PINKS: Episode with Orange (N2O) EG Hatch Vs. Black Flamed Mustang...

Yes, an old episode, but I never watch television. I was watching it tonight and when the Civic blew up the trans. on the last race, I found some humor and user/builder error on the honda.

At the end, the driver was saying it snapped an Axle, but under the car was tranny fluid, not axle grease. Secondly, the tranny fluid was 'red' from my view and we all know Honda trannys dont use RED fluid, hint.

I have seen a shop build a new honda tranny and the user didnt know, but used MTF 75w-90 oil and 1 day went my and the trans ate its self alive.

So from my assumption.. seems alot of these people on the show have no idea what they are doing?

Just curious?

the car seemed kinda slow too. most of the simple nitrous setups ive built run mid to low 11's. and thats in full street trim. that car was gutted with lexan windows. ive had many cars come to the shop and have red ATF in the tranny. never understood it

I been using the same fluid all season long and put about 6k miles on the car no issues with the tranny. Yeap, some people dont know what they're doing.

I don't remember MTL being red?
I use the mt-90 now with my Quaife, and it's
regular honey colour.
Both are better than the honda stuff, especially in
the bitter cold.

I have only seen the show a few times...and everytime it makes the "import racer" look like a complete tard. Why can't they be fair to everyone that shows in interest in motorsports?

Mustang/Civic...

less cylinders does not mean less knowledge or desire...

Yeah, that show sucks, mainly because it makes imports look like ****. I always pretend I don't know what show people are talking about when ever they say they saw a stock ford beat a 5 million horsepower import.
