Your not going to keep up unless its a crappy ebay turbo kit or you spend about 3 times as much as the turbo guys

I personally never understood the intrigue of all motor. But unless you are going to run auto-x or have a **** load of money to waste your best bet is FI

All motor is great, but will cost an arm and a leg to do it right, and I still think that you'll be far from catching a turbo car...You might get them on the take off, but that it! And believe me I love the all motor set-up!

K20 in like an EG is pretty damn fast, but some one witha turbo car can always up the boost...and still move on a all motor set-up.

k24 tsx block
k24 tsx head
ips kme cams
forged 11:1 pistons
forged rods
itb's
custom race header
good ole tuning

should be close to 300whp and 220wtq. it'll be plenty fast and plenty expensive.

A decent setup but 255whp/155wtq is more than a stretch to say the least

Everyone's so turbo happy huh?

What are your opinions on a GSr that will only be used for autocross and HPDE or track events... on a strict budget.
Turbo still? Be happy with it? Poor man's all-motor build? Send it to King Motorsports and get their option and tuning? (I live about 5 miles away)
I thought for my application that a supercharger and tuning is the way to go.

Sorry about the hijack to the OP.

there is no cheap all motor build. I've spent 6000 on mine. Still haven't ordered 2 main components (which is another 1700 or so). I won't be keeping up with any turbo'd car anytime soon but I will have a fun daily driver

this is all im saying...sleeve the block forged pistons, rings, and rods, port the head, up the throttle body, increase compression, stroke the crank, and run high octane...its the only way...

Umm, it says 225, not 255. 225 is possible with some kick *** tuning. 255 would be impossible on that setup.

run some laughing gas, build the motor and tune....or just be simple and boost it.
