Is it the clutch or a cylinder problem, help...
ok here is a more detailed desciption from another thread...
its really weird i drove it home after getting bigger drag radials put on and ran it pretty hard.. I take it out the next day to let a kid look at it who was interested in purchasing it i did a 3rd gear pull after leaving from meeting him thats when it started.. The clutch pedal had play in it from the top to about halfway engaged but everything worked fine.. Today i drive it 1st time since then and everything seemed fine drove up the interstate to look at a teggy fs even did some light 4-5th gear pulls it did'nt act up at all.. Then i start it to leave and the clutch felt weird like it was catching at the bottom when i engaged it.. And i got caught up in bumper to bumper and finally the clutch was engaging right off the floor almost immediately after getting caught up in traffic.. It got to the point where it did'nt wanna go in gear so i pulled on the shoulder and sat but got aggravated so i tried to get it to go again.. It would'nt go in any gear but 3rd so i pushed it slightly down a hill and got it to take off in 3rd and drove home down the shoulder and running stop signs on the back road.. It did'nt slip while driving.. another thing say i'm in 1st gear and push the clutch all the way in it won't disengage at all just trys to keep going in gear..
i also noticed my fluid in the reservior was slightly low.. i look in my firewall by my clutch pedal and did'nt notice any real fluid leak..
I filled it up and tried to get my girl lol to help me try to bleed it before i drop the tranny sunday just to be sure.. The pedal does'nt really have much resistance till the very bottom but does'nt just fall down..
When i cracked the valve to bleed it, it spit alil bit and stopped no nothing.. Everytime i tightened it back up she'd have to lift the pedal up then start pumping again has it would get stuck on the floor.. After i few times i got aggravated with the whining and decided to have a friend come over in the morning to helpout..
i'm guessing a broken spring in between the pressure plate but wanna rule out a cylinder problem what should i look for..

look under where the pedals are on the clutch pedal there is a nut where the clutch slave cylinder hooks to it i bet you its loose and moved its way down readjust the clutch pedal. lift it all the way back till it hits the switch then tighten that nut. this happend to me and my friends car.
i'm pretty sure it either your pressure plate or clutch disc... the same thing happen to me last year on my integra... i dont know what happen but when i brought the car for like a couple months the tranny shifted smooth like new... then after a while beating the motor... it started to get hard to shift into any gears (especially 1,2, and 3) change tranny fuild.. nothing happen... bleed the clutch... nada... so i was tired of it and i just drove it like that for a few more month... then all of a sudden it wouldnt go into any gears at all... unless the engine wasnt running then it'll go in gear... so i decided to do a tranny swap... and when doing that i found out that my clutch disc broke a little piece where the spring was at.... change the clutch and decide to use my old tranny (no grinds or nothing before, just hard to get into gear) and after that the tranny was shifting like it was new... unless you're tranny is grinding then it you're tranny... g/l....
