So weve been having some trouble with the transmission on this car recently. We had the clutch replaced because it had symptoms of a slipping clutch. The day after we get it back the car takes a huge dump on us and acts as if the clutch is 90000 years old and slipping like a ****. The shops my bro takes the car to all say its the trans itself. Since im home for the break we decide to buy a used one and swap it ourself. Just got the trans in today and now were having trouble getting it out of gear. When its in neutral its fine. Put the clutch in its fine, put it in gear while the clutch is in gear you get a little resistance but it'll slide right in if you give it a push, then the weird part, while the clutch is still pressed to the floor the wheels start to turn, if you hit the brakes it stalls and if you let off the clutch then the wheels keep turning. So its in gear and trans is engaged whether or not your on the clutch. We know that we need to bleed the clutch slave cylinder cause it has some air in it so we'll try that in 6 hours after some sleep. If that doesn't work does anyone have any ideas?

 

Bled the slave cylinder and ended up replacing the radiator due to a jack accident but no change. We got the car down on wheels and now we can't get it in gear at all when its turned on. If you put it in gear while its off and then turn it on it acts like an automatic and starts to drive as soon as you take the brakes off. Thats it for now.
